Week 8 – A Mighty Instrument!

It is Done!!

meAs I mentioned last week, Chapters 7 and 8 of The MasterKey by Charles Haanel were the beginning of what has been a wonderful adventure for me over the past couple of years. As a child I lived in my imagination; I would play make believe games with my sister and I loved to draw and make things. Not unlike most children you might think, yet somehow I always felt I could easily see shapes and patterns in things that other people could not. I have a very logical, yet also creative mind and I like to know why I am being asked to do something, and rarely take things at face value. Very annoying for others who just wanted me to get on with something I know, but the upside is, when I make up my mind to do something I see it through. Another couple of people I discovered believed passionately in the power and importance of our imagination is Albert Einstein and Neville Goddard

‘Imagination is the light by which we can penetrate new worlds of though and experience.’ (Haanel 8:8)

‘Imagination is a plastic power, molding the things of sense into new forms and ideals.’ Haanel 8:10)

compassIt was during my first time through the MasterKey Experience that I began to connect my natural propensity for creativity, my now 20 years of instrumental teaching experience and my passion for personal development and understanding the meaning of life. I love taking a concept that others find difficult to understand and make it simple through picture words and mental images. There is such a deep feeling of satisfaction that nothing else can give as that of helping another person find or understand the concept of something they had previously struggled with. For those who have followed my blog over the last couple of years, you will know how I went on to combine my knowledge and experience to create something new. What I did not have any way of knowing when I started was how my ideas could or would impact on others. All I had was my imagination, a feeling, some knowledge and experience. These were the points on my compass.

‘If you have been I am faithful to your my ideal, you will hear the call when circumstances are ready to materialize your my plans and results will correspond in the exact ratio of your my fidelity to your my ideal. The ideal steadily held is what predetermines and attracts the necessary conditions for its fulfillment.’ (Haanel 8:25)

‘……..imagination is the matrix in which all great things are fashioned.’ (Haanel 8:24 part)

12270012_664869520319703_1912051271_nToday, I see the fulfilment of my ideal clearly in my mind. When I shower in the morning I close my eyes and imagine I am standing under a Kauai waterfall, laughing and having fun with my friends and my awesome Mastermind partner Konstantina Bourmou. When I close my eyes at night I see myself living in my beautiful personally designed home with a fabulous log cabin creative studio where I teach and help others discover their purpose in life for themselves. Just as I know when I throw a ball in the air it is going to come down through the natural Universal Law of Gravity, if I imagine my ideal life and feel myself already in possession of it, by the natural Universal Law of Attraction, it is coming, and in ways and means I could never have thought of. Believe it with every fibre of your being.

‘The imagination gathers up the material by which the Mind weaves the fabric in which your future is to be clothed.’ (Haanel 8:7)
