Week 22a Where Greatness begins
In the Imagination
I am starting to see the shoots from metaphorical seeds that were planted weeks and months ago beginning to sprout. If you follow my blog regularly you may know, during last years MKMMA I made a big decision to leave a successful teaching position in a school I had been with for over 15 years, to start a new venture. I felt turning my passions into a business to help people reconnect with their creative imagination and explore their potential was important and something I was being called to do. I have done my best to listen and learn everything I can about myself, my conscious and subconscious mind, the Laws of the Universe and improve my skills. Despite a few ups and downs the overall result of my persistent effort has been a huge change in my energy vibration and deeper awareness of the Law of Attraction and Law of Growth working in my life.
During the last two or three weeks I have found people coming into my life who are so in alignment with my own thinking and whose businesses compliment and enhance mine and mine theirs beautifully. The more I am understanding and trusting in myself, taking 100% responsibility for everything that happens in my life and knowing I am the creator or my own reality, I feel so much happier, more alive and bursting with excitement (most of the time! lol). The result is things are happening around me, people and events that I could not previously see are coming into view and opening even more possibilities.
New pupils are coming to me, business men and women who have always dreamed of playing a musical instrument but never had the opportunity for various reasons are excited, even if a little nervous, to unlock their hidden potential, and I see my vision of establishing a fabulous fun ensemble for local business people coming to fruition in a few months time as they master the basics and grow in confidence with their playing. I REALLY love seeing people enjoy their music learning. It makes my own Spirit soar and I feel so alive and bursting with joy.

I feel there is nothing more attention and concentration cultivating than learning a musical instrument, and it will be so exciting to see how the lives and businesses of my new pupils change as a result of their taking the initiative to challenge themselves and grow.

Creative and Performing arts allow the mind to relax and the imagination to take over, often resulting in those solution ‘aha’ moments you could otherwise spend weeks searching for! Along with time, our imagination is a hugely precious human resource and something I believe we all need to ensure we invest time and effort in cultivating. Everything around you was first created in someone’s imagination. So what are your ideas? What possibilities lay dormant in you? Getting creative can help you discover your gifts.

‘….In order to cultivate the imagination it must be exercised. Exercise is necessary to cultivate mental muscle as well as physical muscle. It must be supplied with nourishment or it cannot grow.’ (Haanel 8:12)
I love seeing the lights go on in someone’s eyes as they realise they can do something they previously thought impossible for them. For me, teaching and mentoring is what I was born to do. My head knows it, but more importantly my heart knows it, and literally jumps for joy. 🙂
