Week 3 “The man who knows that he has a Solar Plexus will not fear criticism or anything else”…

sunshine_meditation1He will be too busy radiating courage, confidence and power

Like many people I had heard of the Solar Plexus but I have never really stopped to consider exactly what it is, or what it does. According to my dictionary it is actually a “network of nerves behind the stomach”.                                                                                              But what does it do?

Haanel describes it as “the channel of that mental action which unconsciously supports the vital functions of the body.”  I highlighted in my previous Week 2 blog that the Solar Plexus is also the organ of the Subconscious mind, whose value is enormous! This is where we feel emotion, inspiration and truth. The Solar Plexus is our “centre of energy from which the life and energy of the entire body flows.”

If the sun stopped shining planet earth would die. “The Solar Plexus has been likened to the sun  of the body!” On this basis I guess it deserves my utmost attention.

Have you noticed when the sun is shining in the sky we all tend to feel cheerier and more vitalised. It lifts our mood and makes everything seem no so bad.

Did you know that our Conscious mind is the master of our sun centre? That’s right!

What you consciously think about, and fuel with emotion, is accepted by your Subconscious without question and it goes to work to bring to you the things you have thought about. Wow!!

The Subconscious is intelligent, creative and unlimited. But it can not reason or argue, and it has an arch enemy!!! Fear…….Have you ever found yourself feeling really excited about something, only to back off and refuse to get involved because you are afraid or criticism or ridicule? I know I have.

Haanel says “It is the fear of this criticism that causes many ideas to fail to see the light of day.”

Our thoughts are like magnets, and it is through our conscious thought that we have the power within us to radiate health, strength, harmony and prosperity.

“It is our attitude toward life which determines the experiences with which we meet; if we expect nothing, we shall have nothing; if we demand much, we shall receive the greater portion”.

Through the Master Keys Course I am learning so much, and am gradually beginning to chip the cement from the Golden Buddah and understand the amazing person that I really am.

Let your light shine.

“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.” (The Alchemist – Paulo Coelho)
